Rare Olene offers the total package: a proven speedball pedigree, good looks, loads of muscle, great conformation, and a laid-back willing attitude. Unraced, due to a shoulder injury he suffered as a weanling, Rare Olene will prove himself through his offspring.  Rare Olene has sired winning barrel horses who are currently racing in arenas across the U.S.  His first race-track bound foals will begin their race careers in 2007. 

Rare Olene's pedigree speaks volumes. His sire is Rare Form, who has been one of the top 10 AQHA Leading Race Sires.  A World Champion who has produced 4 World Champions and money earners in excess of $12 million, Rare Form met an untimely death in 2004.  Rare Olene is one of a very few Rare Form sons at stud.

Rare Olene's dam is Rosie Olene, an AAA Stakes Winner undefeated on the track at 2, and an AAA producing dam who has also produced winning barrel and race horses.  She is a granddaughter to the famous "blue-hen" mare Miss Olene, an AAA wining and AAA producing daughter of Leo.
